Hot on the heels of a massive launch last week at Detroit’s Movement Electronic Music Festival, the America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by DJ Times & Pioneer DJ rolls on this Saturday, June 11 with a killer installment of Sleepy & Boo’s Illusion party at Cielo NYC.

The married DJ duo has been a perennial fixture on the ABDJ top 100 each year, having played an integral role bringing the dance underground to Manhattan’s surface with their work as founders of Basic NYC and nonstop DJ sets all over the city.

This week, the pair is heading back to Meatpacking’s Cielo nightclub for their regular Illusion residency. The America’s Best DJ and DJ Times team will be on-hand to hold down a dedicated booth to collect ballots and distribute magazines, and each vote cast will automatically give entrants the chance to win prizes.

To celebrate the party this weekend, Sleepy & Boo have picked six of their favorite tracks of the moment. Peep their selections now and grab tickets to the party here.

Sleepy & Boo – “Innocent” [3Bridge Records]

“This is the title track from our most recent EP on 3Bridge Records, a NYC based label that is run by some of our good friends. It’s one of our favorite tracks that we’ve produced and it always makes us happy to play this in our sets. Uplifting, deep and driving, and great for the dancefloor.”

Several Definitions – “Dark Triangles (Reset Robot Remix)” [Selador]

“This is coming up on Dave Seaman’s Selador label. We’re big fans of Reset Robot’s productions and his remix of Several Definitions “Dark Triangles” is a monster slab of dubby and sinister techno that builds a perfect groove. One of his best yet, that we will be supporting for a while.”

Bas Roos – “Searchin” [Exploited]

“This track is part of the latest Black Jukebox compilation series on the Exploited label from Germany, which is always full of quality. It’s got a filtered loopy disco-house feel that we absolutely love. Real nice summery outdoor vibes that bring smiles on the dancefloor.”

Ryan Davis – “Brun (Matthias Meyer Remix)” [Anjunadeep]

“Matthias Meyer is a master of deep and uplifting house and we’re always excited when he drops something new. His remix of Ryan Davis’ “Brun” is a powerhouse of emotions, with goosebump-inducing strings and soaring atmospheres leading to a beautiful crescendo. Just a well-done track in all aspects from the Anjunadeep label, which is on fire at the moment.”

Enrico Sangiuliano -“Hook at the Border (Paride Saraceni Stormy Dub mix)” [Tronic Music]
“Italy’s Paride Saraceni is another can’t-miss producer that we’ve been a big fan of for a while now. This dub mix is right up our alley with its hypnotic stabs and tense strings. This is part of an upcoming release on Christian Smith’s excellent Tronic Music label by his countryman Enrico Sangiuliano. We’re big supporters of everything on Tronic, which has had a big year of releases.”

Reelow – “Quantum (Stefano Noferini Remix)” [Deeperfect]

“This is a great track to play when you want to go heavy on the drums and percussion. Stefano Noferini turned in a real dancefloor-pleaser with his remix of Reelow’s “Quantum” on his own Deeperfect label. It’s all about the irresistible groove here – sounds outstanding on a big system.”
