Brooklyn, N.Y. – Tonight, Brooklyn’s Schimanski club will host another Gotham trance massive, this time featuring one of the genre’s biggest talents – Markus Schulz. With the Miami-based DJ/producer spinning an open-to-close set, the event will be the latest stop on the America’s Best DJ Summer Tour.

America’s Best DJ – the annual fan vote and tour run by DJ Times magazine – kicked off this past Memorial Day weekend at Detroit’s Movement festival and will run until Labor Day. Each year, DJ Times nominates 100 DJs for the title and fans can vote online or vote at a series of summer events. At Schimanski tonight, DJ Times will have an activation booth where fans can vote for their favorite DJs and win prizes.

Schulz, a former two-time ABDJ winner (2012 and 2014), has become one of the globe’s top trance talents. In addition to becoming a major draw at clubs and festivals around the world, Schulz produces his weekly radio show (“Global DJ Broadcast”) that airs on Digitally Imported radio, After Hours FM and other online stations. Schultz also runs his label Coldharbour Recordings. “Calling for Love” featuring irrepressible vocalist JES is Schulz’s latest release on the imprint.
